Google today announced two new performance settings in its Chrome browser: Memory Saver and Energy Saver.
Modern browsers eat up a lot of memory, and while that’s not a problem if you have 32GB of RAM, Chrome using multiple 新北收購筆電gigabytes of your memory can quickly slow your machine down if you’re on a machine with lower specs. The Memory Saver mode promises to reduce Chrome’s memory usage by up to 30% by putting inactive tabs to sleep. The tabs will simply reload when you need them again. The Energy Saver mode, meanwhile, limits background activity and visual effects for sites with animations and videos when your laptop’s battery level drops below 20%.

The features are now rolling out with the release of Chrome 108 and will be available globally for Windows, macOS and ChromeOS in the coming weeks. You can exempt individual sites from going to sleep or, of course, turn these features off completely.
Google’s announcement comes a day after Microsoft announced that its Edge Browser put 1.38 billion tabs to sleep in September alone. According to Microsoft, sleeping a tab in Edge typically saves 83% of the memory it would normally occupy. The company rolled out its version of thes

Nvidia（輝達）宣布旗下新的 RTX 2080 Super 與 RTX 2070 Super 筆電專用顯示卡上市，是 Nvidia 自創立以來最強的筆電專用的行動顯示卡，基於 RTX 圖靈（Turing）架構，內建光線追蹤效果與專用 RT Core 硬體，是去年（2019）的 RTX 行動顯示卡系列的繼任者。
未來搭載 RTX Super 系列的筆電，都能採用全新的 Max-Q 設計，進一步縮小筆電的外觀，加上新的 Dynamic Boost 渦輪加速功能（提供處理器與顯示卡自動分配功率），與 GDDR6 記憶體，可以讓筆電獲得更好的顯示效果，而且還能減少消耗功率，延長筆電使用時間。
根據 Nvidia 官方提供資料，新的 RTX 2080 Super 與 RTX 2070 Super 將分別取代 RTX 2060 與 RTX 2070，尤其是 RTX 2080 Super 效能大約是中低階的 GTX 1660 Ti 的兩倍以上，開啟 DLSS 2.0 後效能可以更提升一層樓。
配合 Intel（英特爾）的第十代 Core i7-10875H 處理器，目前已經有諸多廠商如雷蛇（Razer Blade）、Acer（宏碁）、ASUS（華碩）、MSI（微星）與 新北收購筆電gigabyte（技嘉）將採用 Intel 新處理器與 RTX 2080 Super 與 RTX 2070 Super 顯示卡，將於 4～5 月上市。
除了 RTX 2080 Super 與 RTX 2070 Super 外，Nvidia 還確定將有多款筆電將使用 RTX 2060，包括 HP 的 Omen（售價 999 美金），是目前市面上價格最實惠的 RTX 筆電，根據外媒《The Verge》的說法，搭配 RTX 2060 的筆電顯示效能將是 2016 年的 GTX 960M 的五倍以上。
